The FREEDOM+ Surf was designed for surfboards (surfing) however we often get the question can it be used on a foil board; the answer is yes and no. 

It is possible to fit the device to a foil board however the electrodes need to be in the water for the protective electrical field to be created, so it will not work while foiling, it will of course work while you are paddling. 

If you wish to try the device on your foil select the Short Board version because the electrical field on the Normal version may be too strong for these short boards, the electrical field maybe felt while paddling or foiling with the Normal version. 

Again, the FREEDOM+ Surf was not designed for this purpose but other than not working while foiling it is a solution while paddling.
