The same principle applies for testing your FREEDOM+ Surf while out of the water. Insert the Power module in the kicker tail pad, ensuring it is charged. Switch it on and check that it has gone through the self-start sequence as expected (see product manual). Put the multi-tester probes on each of the oblong silver electrodes on the bottom of the board which closes the circuit and simulates use in the ocean. If the antenna is working, the power module will show a solid green light and the lights on the multi-tester will alternate.
