The braid on my FREEDOM7 is damaged, what can I do?Updated 10 months ago

If you have damaged the braid on your FREEDOM7 or SURF7 antenna, for example, the strands have been torn, frayed or broken, it will not affect the performance of the product.

You can simply tape over the braid to stop further damage however be careful not to tape over too much of the stainless-steel mesh. You can tape over some of it but note that this is the electrode conductive area so needs to be exposed to the sea water.
