What is the difference between the FREEDOM+ Surf with the diamond antennas and the newer version with oblong shaped antennas?Updated 8 months ago

The latest FREEDOM+ Surf model features a streamlined electrode and black antenna design, inspired by the surfboard stringer. 

Because the new oblong shaped electrodes have exactly the same surface area as the old diamond shaped ones and the antenna is the same length, the new design offers exactly the same protection as the original version with the diamond shaped electrodes and white antenna.

There is no difference in the electrical field output or shark deterrent performance between the two antenna designs. The Tail Pad Antenna change in shape and colour is aesthetic only. 

Both antenna electrodes have exactly the same surface area and are exactly the same distance apart, producing the same independently proven shark deterring performance.
